Book Review
The book that I read was “Justice League,” by Geoff Johns. The book was about how each superhero came together to beat their strongest foe. Each character has different personalities, and it conflicts with them working together. For example, Green Lantern has a very cocky personality. He is prideful about his strength, which is his biggest downfall. Batman is quiet but confident in his ability of observation. Superman is a Kryptonian who knows his own strength and just wants to protect his community. Each character has their own problems, but eventually they need to learn how to properly work together. The theme of the story is if you work with others and swallow your pride, you can get the job done.
Each character in this story has a major character development. Green Lantern is humbled through getting pummeled by the main villain. After being turned into the cyborg. Victor learns how to not be coldhearted and starts to love others more. He puts other people before himself by protecting them with his robotic abilities. Batman, Superman, and Aquaman put away their pride and actually try to work with the other heroes. The rest of the heroes, like Flash and Wonder Woman, did a pretty good job working together to fight their strongest foe.
In my opinion, this book was pretty interesting to me because I have always loved DC Comics. The art in this book was really good, and the storyline was not bad. I felt like they could’ve made the fight longer, but overall I would recommend this. If you like action and comedy, read this comic.
